ADULT DAYTIME FELLOWSHIP
Calvary Lutheran has recently begun an adult Daytime Fellowship Group. The purpose is to offer the opportunity for people to get together to become better acquainted, enjoy each other's company, and have the opportunity to do things together. Programs, speakers, and plans to do some things outside the church will be planned. Generally, the group will meet on the second Thursday of each month. If you would like more information or would like to be on the email reminder list, please contact Sheila Miller (436-2412) or Judy Williams (632-2063). Also let them know if you have an idea for a speaker, program, or activity. Check the bulletin and the Tidings to learn about planned activities.

WOMEN OF THE ELCA CELEBRATE 20 YEARS
The women’s organization of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2007-2008. For 20 years, this community of women (of which all the women of Calvary are a part of) has omitted itself to “grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.”
We praise God for the multitudes of blessings this organization has received and has been privileged to pass on to others over these past 20 years. The gifts and talents of many women have given us great leadership, developed exceptional resources such as Lutheran Women Today magazine and the newer Café for younger women, made available numerous Bible studies and other personal and spiritual growth materials, supported projects and programs that have benefited women both locally as well as globally.
Check out their web-site at www.womenoftheelca.org and click on 20th Anniversary to learn more about the organization.
